Indications were that huge instability would be available today across S Kansas, but only if the CAP could break and the slightly anticyclonic upper flow didn't inhibit deep convection. As we had to consider the S option ready for the trip to the airport tomorrow, it seemed our only real option. No deep convection fired in the Wellington region that we had chosen in the end, probably due to one of the reasons above, so we continued S to Norman, Oklahoma for the overnight stay. |

| No story for today really, simply got up, went to the airport and came home... chasecation over! :-( It was a great experience though, despite the dissappointments and something I will do again... |
